The Farmhouse is a subsidiary of daffodil*parker
The Farmhouse was established in 2013 with the intention to create a homestead for The Farmhouse family in Brooklyn, WI.
As the house and farm went through renovation after renovation, it was obvious that this was where we wanted to spend most of our time, so it quickly evolved into finding a way to make our homestead also a place that contributed to our work life.
We ventured into raising a variety of livestock, started a small scale work share CSA and began to grow flowers that are used throughout the season at daffodil*parker
Each year there seems to be a new addition or small expansion as we continue to find ways to make our 'work' a regular part of our farm operations on the homestead - no matter what month of the year, there is always something exciting happening on the farm!

main interests include flowers from seed, perennials, heirloom and quirky veggie varieties, caring for the animals and being with the kids
the constant ideas in the works; brawn of the bunch; the risk taker to keep things moving (forward most of the time)
main interests include permaculture, hoop houses, growing fruits and veggies in new ways, moving fence set ups and giving the kids jobs
the oldest and wisest of the youngins
main interests include baking, flower gardening, reading in a hammock, shopping, being with friends, and making plans
maximum boy energy, gifted at imaginative play on the farm
main interests include playing soccer, making potions, being outside for free play, hanging with Leo and grilling out on a summer night
up for anything, often found imaginative playing with Oscar
main interests include playing lacrosse, creating forts outside, reading fantasy books, helping in the garden and playing with Leo, Oscar, and Stella
the fearless little dude with wondrous adventure
main interests include cuddling with mom, feeding the animals, playing with his older siblings, chillin with dad and eating snacks
